A Journey to 5.6k Followers: The Story Behind Sand Arts And Crafts
Can you believe it? We've reached 5.6k followers on our little page! This milestone is so humbling, and we thought it was the perfect time to reflect on our journey, share some memories, and introduce ourselves a bit more personally. If you're new to Sand Arts And Crafts, welcome! Let us take you through where it all began and how we’ve grown into the business we are today.
Who Am I?
My name is Zoe, and I’m a mum to four amazing kids, aged 5 to 19. We live in the beautiful seaside town of Morecambe, though I’m originally from Fence, near Burnley. Besides running Sand Arts And Crafts, I hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare, and I’m trained in both Paediatric First Aid and DBS certified.
When I’m not running workshops or managing orders, you might find me volunteering with Bee Unique Autism or helping out as a business trainer for The Growing Club. I'm also a business auditor and product tester, so I always have something exciting on my plate!
How Sand Arts And Crafts Was Born
My journey with sand art began quite serendipitously on a family holiday to Scotland. My little boy, now 16, spotted a sand art display and was instantly captivated. That simple moment sparked the idea, and from there, my dream of creating a business that fosters creativity for kids and families alike was born.
In 2019, I officially launched Sand Arts And Crafts, and the growth has been extraordinary. I even took my youngest to my first conference when he was just a newborn, strapped in a sling! It was at that very event that I won Business Ambassador status after only five months. Despite the challenges of Brexit and the pandemic, my business continued to flourish. I am now a team leader, and my kids have grown up alongside this venture.
